The National Customs Service and the International Trademark Association (INTA) organized the International Seminar on Detection Methods for Counterfeit Products and Border Challenges, which was held in Iquique on July 31.
Alexandra Howard, associate attorney of Villaseca Abogados, participated as an exhibitor of the pharmaceutical laboratory Eli Lilly International. In her speech, Howard focused on the drug Cialis and the security measures that are adopted to avoid the falsification of both the medicines and their packaging, ceasing to be legitimate products. He also stressed the concern of the company because, being counterfeit drugs, can cause a major health problem.
