Villaseca Abogados has started this year with the designation of two new partners. It is about the lawyer Álvaro Arévalo, who is the head at the Copyright area, and Loreto Vera, engineer, who is leading the Innovation area as well Plant Variety area. The aim of that is to potentiate the growth of the firm in two special strategic areas.
Loreto Vera, Chemical Engineer of Universidad de Chile, is part of Villaseca since 1997, having a vast experience in intellectual property related to technology transfer and strategies for patent and plant variety protection. For his part, the lawyer Álvaro Arévalo joined Villaseca on 2009, provides legal advice to people and national/international companies in copyrights ambits including depositing, contractual protection and judicial grounds, as well for filing and defending subject matters related to trademark, domain names and inventions.
Thus, Villaseca Abogados firm is formed by six partners: Bernardo Serrano, Max Villaseca, Eduardo Molina and Felipe Pavez, further Álvaro Arévalo and Loreto Vera. With them, Sergio Amenabar remains as general Counsel.
